OISER Training and Industry Immersion Program (OTIP)

At OISER, we believe the future of Canada at large is built on the skills, drive, and contributions of its immigrant community.

The OTIP program is designed for immigrants who are ready to invest in building meaningful careers, not just finding jobs.

If you are a Permanent Resident, Work Permit Holder, or Citizen living in Alberta with at least a Diploma or Degree, this program will equip you with:

- Industry-recognized training
- Certification
- Real-world industry immersion experience

Please note:


- OISER does not guarantee immediate employment.
- Many participants are hired by our partner organizations;
while others join OISER’s exclusive Bench Ready Professionals Network.
- Participant contributions toward training costs are non-refundable.
- Industry immersions are unpaid by OISER (some partners may provide stipends).
